1999 – Record and distribute the Illusions Of Evil DEMO / Mustis (ex-Dimmu Borgir) puts down synthesizer tracks as guest musician having recently joined the ranks of Dimmu Borgir and becoming part of the family tree

2000 - Sign with Nuclear Blast Records

2001 - Release the classic Thrash/Black album “Predominance“, recorded in Abyss studios / Special edition album released in South Korea / Sell more than 10.000 copies in the first three weeks / Tour Europe 2 weeks alongside In Flames, Nevermore, Lacuna Coil & Dimmu Borgir / Tour Europe again for 2 weeks alongside Destruction & Dimmu Borgir / Headline the Extremo Open Air festival in Portugal / Play the Inferno Festival in Norway

2002 - Release the innovative technical Thrash album “Vindication“, also recorded in Abyss studios (vocals at BBM studios, Oslo). Co-produced by Peter Tägtgren & Bjørn Boge / Co-headline the Milwaukee Metal Fest / Play the Hole in the Sky Festival, Norway / Release the music video for the song “The Bitter Man”

2003 - Tour United Kingdom for 1 week / Play 2 sold out shows in Mexico City & Monterrey, Mexico

2004 - Sign a new recording contract with Tabu Recordings / Release the higly acclaimed “Unlimited” album which is nominated for best album in the metal category at the Alarm Awards, Norway / Becoming the band`s best selling album, with over 5000 units in USA alone / Play in a total of 19 countries through Europe during the 9 week Unlimited Grudge European headline tour / Play the Inferno Festival, Norway for the second time / Play the Hole in the
Sky Festival
, Norway for the second time / Play the Slottsfjell Festival, Norway / Release the music video for the song Chemistry which is frequently aired on MTV / Tour their native country Norway extensively / Cover story in norwegian Scream Magazine

2005 – Release the EP “Devil May Care” with one new song and various cover songs / Creating music history becoming the first ever norwegian metal band to enter the nations official Top 20 Single hit list. A television interview on national TV honors the achievement / Invited as special guests on the very exclusive European tour of the newly re-united Testament / 2 week headline tour of Europe / Release the music video for the song “Devil May Care

2006 - Play the Inferno Festival, Norway for the third time / Play the Motstøy Festival, Norway / 1 week headline tour of the United Kingdom

2007 - Release the long awaited darkened Thrash album “Cut From Stone“ Album debuts at 39th position on the Top 40 album list in Norway / Invited as main support for W.A.S.P. on a 2 week U.K. / Norway tour / 1 week additional
co-headline tour of the U.K. alongside the reunited Onslaught

2008 – Headline the Revoltallo festival, Spain / Play the Metal Rock Festival, Norway / Play a very rare show on the Gran Canaria Island, outside the coast of Morocco and Sahara

2009 – Sign a new recording contract with Candlelight Records / Release the higly praised album “Attitude“, charting at 28th position on the Top 40 Album list in Norway / 2 week headline tour of the U.K. with vocals handled by Bernt Fjellestad, due to Athera suffering a heart attack in march, and undergoing quadruple bypass open heart surgery / Athera returns to stage in June at a festival in Steinkjær, Norway / Play the Hard Rock Hell 3 festival in Wales, U.K.

2010 – The year is spent writing new music and playing some one-off shows

2011 – Susperia makes the cut to the norwegian semifinals of the Eurovision Song Contest as one of the 21 qualifiers out of more than 700 contestants with the song Nothing Remains, written in conjunction with the returning
Mustis
now no longer in Dimmu Borgir / Mustis stays onboard as guest musician, returning in this role after 12 years, and the band writes and records new and old material in Strand Studio, Norway / Will release, on the
special date of 11.11.11, the much anticipated and celebratory album, ”We Are The Ones“, marking 10 years of album releases / Sign a new recording contract with SMG Records
